Because our community’s safety depends on it.
Our Bomberos are 100% volunteer and our department is 100% funded by donations.
We serve over 7,500+ residents across Pescadero, Cerritos, San Pedrito, Gavilan, and Elias Calles, plus thousands of tourists every year. Every emergency we answer — fires, medical calls, collisions, rescues — requires fuel, equipment, training, and a fully stocked ambulance.
Your support fills the ambulance with fuel, fills the tanker with water, puts tools in the hands of rescuers, and ensures that when someone dials 911… we are able to respond.
When you donate, you are directly helping protect lives, property, and the future of this community.
WHO WE ARE
We are led by Chief Griselda Sotelo, the first female fire chief in Baja, with a team of over 16 volunteer firefighters.
Every emergency we respond to — fires, collisions, medical calls and rescues — is made possible solely through donations. A team dedicated to protecting our community.
What We Need to Keep Responding
Beyond financial donations, we gratefully accept donated equipment, supplies, tools, and services. Medical supplies + equipment
Firefighting + rescue gear, Ambulance and vehicle equipment, Radios + communications equipment. Tools and general supplies
